We recognise that the privacy of your personal information is important to you. The purpose of this policy is to inform you of what personal information we collect, how your personal information may be used and disclosed, how you can get access to this information and what rights you have in relation to it.  Please take the time to read it carefully, as it will help you make informed decisions about sharing your personal information with us. This privacy policy applies to the information collected through our webpage and/or our client system, as well as information collected and/or processed by Asesia in any other way.

 

We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the services that you requested from us. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at info@asesia.com.  If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue to use our services and contact us at info@asesia.com to share your view. You may choose not to register or provide your personal information, but please be aware that we may not be able to provide you the services without that information.

 

The personal information that we collect includes the following:

Name and Contact Details. We collect your first and last name, email address, and telephone number. When necessary for the provision of the services, we may collect your home and/or work address as well as your date of birth, and other relevant information collected from you such as your gender, marital status, etc.

Credentials. We may collect your log in information into the client’s portal including the password that allows authentication and account access.

Personal information about your health We may collect other information about certain lifestyle habits (e.g. smoking, eating habits, sleeping habits, stress, exercise, etc.)

Information automatically collected. Some information such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics is collected automatically. This information does not reveal your specific identity, but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, country, location, information about how and when your use of our Site and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our system, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

We collect and process the personal information that you voluntarily provide to us for purposes based on legitimate business interests, i.e., with the only purpose of providing the services that have been requested from us. Specifically, we use the information you provide:

 

·      To facilitate account creation and login process: When you have chosen or given a password which allows you to access our client portal, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We advise you not to share your password with anyone.

·      To send information to you: to send you the information you need for the booking of our services and the provision of the services you have requested.

·      To provide Services: Asesia will use your personal information to provide you with the services that have been requested.

·      Payment: Asesia may use personal and/or health data to obtain payment for the services we provide to you, including disclosing information to companies with whom we contract for payment-related services. Asesia will not use or disclose more information for payment purposes than is contractually necessary.

·      Internal Operations: Asesia may use your personal information for activities which are necessary for our operations. This may include our contracted lawyers, auditors, accreditation services and consultants. Employees and/or consultants that receive this information have special rules to prevent the misuse of your information for other purposes.

·      Request Feedback. We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about the services provided to you.

·      To protect our site (for business purposes and/or Legal Reasons). We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep our site safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).

·      To enforce our terms, conditions and policies (for business purposes, legal reasons and/or possibly contractual).

·      To respond to legal requests and prevent harm (for legal reasons). If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how we respond.

 

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to protect your rights, or to fulfil business obligations. We only share and disclose your information in the following situations:

·      Subcontractors, Business partners, Consultants and Other Third-Party Providers. We may share your data with third party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work.

We may disclose your information when we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).

·      Vital interests and legal rights. We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.

·      With your consent. We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent. Except under the conditions explained above, we do not share, sell, rent or trade any of your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

We may transfer, store and process your information in countries other than your own.

Our servers are located in Sweden. If you are accessing our booking site from outside Sweden, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed by third parties with whom we may share your personal information with, according to your consent and the conditions above.

If you are a resident outside the European Economic Area, then these countries may not have comprehensive data protection or other laws. We will however, take all necessary measures to protect your personal and/or health information in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law. Such measures are taken by implementing the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between our group companies and between us and our third-party providers, which require all such recipients to protect personal information that they process from the EEA in accordance with European data protection laws.

We keep your personal and/or health information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention is required or permitted by law.

 

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will permanently delete it from our servers.

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures. We have implemented appropriate technical and security measures designed to protect any personal information we process. Once in our system, your personal and/or health data is stored in secure servers with limited access.

 

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and any transmission is therefore at your own risk. However, we take the necessary steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 years of age without their parents or legal guardian’s consent.

In some regions (like the European Economic Area), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws.  These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. To make such a request, please email us at info@asesia.com.   We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.  We may need to make an appointment with you, where necessary, to clarify a request for access or correction. Before granting a request for access or correction we must verify your identity to ensure that the request is made by you, or by another person who is authorized to make a request on your behalf. We may set a reasonable fee to cover the administrative cost of actually providing the information related to a request for access. In certain circumstances we may deny access to information and/or refuse to correct information held. If a request is denied, we will explain this decision in writing.

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note however that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal. You may at any time request to terminate your account by contacting us at iinfo@asesia.com Upon request to deactivate or delete your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active database. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements.

If you are resident in the European Economic Area and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
